From last Thursday:

Women’s JV soccer fell to Franklin. Carmen Iturriaga scored.

Men’s JV soccer fell to Franklin 3-1.  Devin Wilson scored the lone goal for the Huskies.

Men’s varsity soccer tied Franklin 2-2.  Roy Rangel scored on an assist from Luis Cruz and Anthony Wilson scored on an assist from Luis Cruz.

From Friday and the weekend:

Women’s JV basketball fell to St. Francis.

Women’s varsity basketball fell to St. Francis.

Men’s freshmen basketball fell to Jesuit.

Men’s JV basketball defeated Jesuit.

Men’s varsity basketball defeated Jesuit 63-58.

Wrestling results: This weekend the Lady Huskies traveled to Natomas HS for the Northern Girls Regional. The first of two qualifiers on the road to State. All three Lady Huskies qualified for Girls Maters in two weeks. Sachi Infante started us off with a 5th place finish. Winnie Guan continued her strong season with a 4th place finish, and to cap off a tough weekend of wrestling Michaela Infante finished in 7th. The Sheldon wrestling team would also like to thank Teal TV for letting us share the spotlight in this week’s edition on YouTube.

Women’s soccer will travel to Davis. Varsity start time is 3:30 p.m. and JV start time is 5:00 p.m.

Men’s soccer will host Davis. Varsity start time is 3:30 p.m. and JV start time is 5:00 p.m.

Women’s varsity basketball will travel to Grant. Start time is 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday

Men’s basketball will host Grant. Freshmen start time is 4:00 p.m. JV start time is 5:30 p.m. Varsity start time is 7:00 p.m.

Thursday

Women’s soccer will host St. Francis. Varsity start time is 3:30 p.m. and JV start time is 5:00 p.m.

Men’s soccer will travel to Jesuit. Varsity start time is 3:00 p.m. and JV start time is 5:00 p.m.

Friday

Men’s basketball will travel to Pleasant Grove. Freshmen start time is 4:00 p.m. JV start time is 5:30 p.m. Varsity start time is 7:00 p.m.

Women’s basketball will host Pleasant Grove. JV start time is 5:30 p.m. and varsity start time is 7:00 p.m.

Saturday

Wrestling will host the Delta League meet.

Women’s basketball will travel to Edison. JV start time is 5:30 p.m. and varsity start time is 7:00 p.m.

Attention student-athletes! Spring sport try-outs start today! Make sure you have turned in your paperwork in order to be cleared to try-out!

Attention all student-athletes interested in joining the swim team this year! Swim sign-ups will be held today at 3:30 in room F5. Any Student can sign up! No try-outs! Come sign up and you will have a chance to meet the Coaches and ask any questions that you may have!

There is a make-up New Parent and Athlete meeting tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria! If you are a new student-athlete to Sheldon and you have not attended one of these meetings, you need to attend tonight’s!
