All Academy Group Photos will be after school on Friday at the PAC steps. This is for everyone in an academic academy.  Artswork is at 3:15, Building Trades is at 3:20 and Biotech is at 3:25. Friday-After School-PAC Steps.  (11/16/18)



Due to excessive disruption and safety concerns, we do not accept food deliveries from outside delivery services (i.e., DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.).  We will only accept food deliveries from parents/guardians or others that are listed on the student’s emergency information screen and delivery MUST be dropped off in the front office for student to pick up.  (Lowe 11/16)


Hey huskies! Sheldon’s Sober Grad Committee is having a fundraiser on TODAY November 15th at BJ’s located on the corner of Laguna Blvd. BJs will be donating 20% of the proceeds to Sober Grad Night and future events. Come out and have some delicious food and pizookies and support Sheldon’s Sober Grad!  (Newton 11/15)


Enjoy Building, designing, or solving problems?  Interested in being an Engineering?  Then we have a competition for you.  Sheldon’s Engineering design pathway is getting ready to participate in the PECG and AASHTO Bridge Building Competition.  We will have a short informational meeting this Thursday, November 15th from 3:30 – 4:00 in Room 335 to explain the competition and guidelines.  If you are interested, please come by and get some information, you do not need to be part of the Engineering Pathway to participate.  Room 335, on Thursday November 15th from 3:30-4:00.  Stop by or Contact Mr. Weaver for more information.  (Weaver 11/15)


Cafeteria News:  Harvest of the month is coming today!!

Completed applications are due by Friday, November 30 at 3:30pm.

Class and College News


Seniors! If you are on the senior payment plan and haven’t paid for the yearbook yet, this is a reminder that the late payment is this week from November 13th to November 16th. The cost is $85 which you can pay at the senior payment window during both lunches. Failure to so results in the removal of the SPP. If you are not on the plan, you can buy your yearbook at any time until it sells out.  (Newton 11/16)


Attention Seniors:  The deadline for submitting applications for California State University (CSU’s) and University of California (UC’s) is Friday, November 30th – just 2 weeks away.  Avoid system overload the last few days of the application period - Finish your applications this week, before the Thanksgiving Break, and enjoy your time off!  Bring your application questions and concerns to Ms. McCabe in the Career Center or your counselor.  (McCabe 11/15)


Seniors planning to attend Sacramento City College, sign up for the SCC Application Workshop.  The workshop will be on Tuesday, December 4th.  Our SCC Specialist will help you navigate the steps for enrollment.  Sign up today in the Career Center.  (McCabe 11/26)
