Hey Huskies… This week is Spirit week, so dress up and show your spirit:

 

Today is Bippidy-Boppidy-Boo day so you should be dressed up in your finest clothes

Thursday: Neverland day, dress up like a kid

Friday: Teal, black and white day, wear school colors

Remember spirit points will be available during both lunches.

Are you interested in learning how artists craft sounds in genres like Hip-Hop, Rock and Electronic music? Do you want a community of music fans who love to share, discuss and debate music? Then come to K9 Records, every Wednesday in J001! We are a club dedicated to music production on computers, teaching software like FL Studio, Pro Tools, and Adobe Audition in a casual, fun atmosphere. Class and College News

 

Did you miss Course Selection Night???  If you did, you have one last chance to choose classes for next year!  Come to the Career Center at Sheldon High School on Saturday, January 26th from 9:00am to 11:00am to pick your classes.  Don’t miss out!!!  (Tweedy 1/25)

 

Seniors!  The deadline to apply for scholarships distributed by the Elk Grove Regional Scholarship Foundation is this Friday, January 25th.  There are over 70 scholarships Sheldon seniors can apply for.  Take a look at the list, and submit your application packets by the deadline to the Sheldon Career Center.  www.elkgroversf.org   Late applications will not be considered.  Questions??? Hello Seniors! If you have not had a chance to order your cap and gown time is running out. A representative from Jostens will be on campus Tuesday January 29th during both lunches. Please fill out an order form so that you don’t miss out on your cap and gown.  (Newton 1/29)

 

“Attention Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors: Do you get mostly A’s and B’s in college prep and AP courses? Have you thought about joining the California Scholarship Federation? CSF Applications are now available in rooms 328 and 314 and are due by 3:30 pm on January 25th. Both new and returning members must apply. See you in CSF!”  (Steger 1/25)

 

Our CRC Outreach Specialist will be in the Career Center this week on Thursday, January 24th.  Drop-in during your lunch if you have CRC questions or need help. No appointment needed.  (McCabe 1/24)

 

Seniors!  The CRC Application Workshop is this Thursday, January 24th and there is still space available. If you are planning on attending CRC after high school and have not completed the application already, sign up for the Workshop today.  See Ms. McCabe in the Career Center. (McCabe 1/24)

 

Attention Juniors:  Our Junior Prom is quickly approaching.  The theme has been selected and it is….”Under the Stars”.  Junior Prom is on March 16.  More information about guest passes and tickets will be out soon!!!  (Mamou 1/25)

 

Hey Huskies!  Are you considering a future in the field of Medicine?  Phi Delta Epsilon at UC Davis will host a Pre-Medical Youth Conference on April 20th.  This is an all-day, FREE interactive event consisting of informative, hands-on workshops, inspiring guest speakers and lunch!  Interested students apply online (using the link provided below).
