Today’s News

“Attention AP Economics 1st semester students! There will be an AP Economics review session in Mr. Reed’s room on Wednesday before school starting at 7:00 and after school starting at 3:10. Mr. Reed will go over key concepts, show you how to draw every graph, and give you resources to study up before test day. Hope to see you all there!”  (Reed 4/24)

A Yearbook meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 24th at both lunches in room F5 for those who turned in applications to be on the staff. This is a mandatory meeting. The meeting will take 10-15 min and you will have the opportunity to hear from current members of the staff.  Please make every effort to be there if you would like to be a part of the staff. Please see Mr. Shupe if you are gone on Tuesday.  (4/24)

“Attention CSF members! Planning to visit UC Berkeley with us at the end of the month? Permission slips are now available for all current CSF members in room 314! The cost is $15, pay in the Student Store. Completed permission slips are due at the MANDATORY pre-field trip meeting after school on Monday, April 23rd in room 314.”  (Steger 4/23)

Sheldon Madness 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament.  This is a 3 on 3 basketball tournament where you must pick 3 to 4 players from your lunch period to participate.  There is no rule on gender or grade. However, If you played Basketball this year at Sheldon High at any level, you ARE eligible to participate, but you can only have 1 basketball player per team. You must have 3 members but you can also have a 4th to sub or be an alternate. This year the first 8 teams per lunch to bring me their completed Registration forms will be sponsored by a teacher on our campus!!!! Parent Permission is required by every member and the forms must be handed in TOGETHER for all members to be eligible to participate. Team entry is on a first come, first serve basis. The forms must be filled out by every team member and turned in to Mr. Berry during the Lunch you are registering for. The first 8 teams each lunch will be selected! Forms will be available in Mr. Berry’s Classroom (Room 333 by the Tennis Courts) starting Monday, April 23rd at Lunch! Games will be during Lunch Starting on Wednesday, May 2nd, Those who advance will play each day to the Championships on Friday, May 4th after school in the Main Gym. The winners of each lunch will compete in an All Campus Championship Game Friday for a Monetary Prize!!!!! Good Luck and let the Madness Begin!!!!!!!!   (Berry 4/25)

“Hey Seniors! Senior Trip tickets are on sale.   Prices are $25 w/asb and $30 w/o asb. Permission forms are available in the AO. If you were on the Senior Payment plan and paid for a senior trip ticket already, please make sure you have a permission form on file with a member from asb!”  (Weaver 4/25)


Hey Seniors! Sober Grad Night tickets are now on sale! Tickets are $85 w/ ASB, $90 w/o, and $110 at the door. Sober Grad Night is on May 23rd from 9 PM-4AM at Golfland Sunsplash. A charter bus ride will be available to the venue.  Purchase your tickets at the student store window until May 18th and don't forget to turn in a green permission form!  (Weaver 4/25)


“CLASS OF 2018! Senior ball tickets are NOW on sale! The prices are $60 w/asb and $65 w/o. ALL GUEST PASS TICKETS are $65. The dance is on May 12 at the Sacramento Convention Center from 6-11 pm. Dinner is included, and will be served at 7 pm. You can pay at the student store window!”   (Weaver 4/25)


If you are planning to enroll in an Advanced Education Course at CRC over the summer but still need to turn in your completed application, drop it off in the Career Center by Monday the 23rd and our Representative will pick it up and deliver it to the CRC Counseling office for you.   (McCabe 4/23)

Seniors:  The last day to turn in your record of community service hours is Friday, April 27th.  Turn in your completed community service record with the required signatures at the Attendance Office. Students who completed the required number of hours and turned in their community service record each year, will earn the Community Service Cord to be worn at graduation.   Students in grades 9-11 have until the last day of school to turn in their community service record for credit this year.   (McCabe 4/23)

If you are a senior and interested in giving a speech at graduation, we will be having auditions the First or second week of May.  Please sign up for the auditions in room 335 or the AO by Friday.  When you sign up, please provide a valid email address, all information about auditions will be sent through email.  (Weaver 4/25)


ATTENTION SENIORS -  If you were a TEAM Husky mentor this and last year and are eligible for the cord, please come pick up an application! Cord applications can be found and are due Friday the 27th in the Activities Office!  (Grivel 4/25)
