Parents Assisting With Students (PAWS)

PAWS literally stands for Parents Assisting With Students.  This unique program is about exploring post-secondary education and career options, in a small group interviewing format, with our Sheldon sophomore students. It allows responsible and supportive adults, who have been in the workforce, to communicate the multiple options students have after graduation. The program encourages students to utilize the many resources located at the school's Career/Counseling Center, explore 2-year/4-year/technical or vocational school options, as well as review support services that will lead to a more successful academic path at Sheldon and beyond. Training is provided for volunteers prior to each session.

PAWS meets with sophomore students twice a year.  If you would like to volunteer to assist please contact Ms. Amanda Toscano (email: amandatoscano11@aol.com or phone: 916-215-5505) or Mr. Ron Ardema (email: draengr@surewest.net)
